Onyekachy Akamnonu Paschal AKA Kachy is an Engineering Manager, Poet, and Photographer.  He studied electronics engineering at the University of Birmingham UK, after that he also attained an MSc in Engineering Management, graduating in the top-10 and awarded for having the best thesis of his year on “Privatisation of the Power Sector in Developing countries”.

Kachy always had always been creative as his hobbies include singing, writing poetry and photography. While at the university he honed his skills for poetry by joining the Writers Bloc society and performing at several events. It was during one of the Spoken word events that he and some Afro-Carribean friends decided to use media and entertainment to provide a platform which enables talented young students to showcase their gifts. Leveraging his role in the university as a foreign student rep, he was able to introduce African dishes to some university events and seminars in order to expose more people to some facets of Nigerian culture.

Kachy has also been featured on the Start Young Global UK magazine for his Aphroden initiative which used media to showcase the positive side of Africa and young Africans. This enabled him to discover his passion for photography, and he now owns a successful photo, video and web design studio under the same brand located in the heart of Nigerian commerce, Lagos.

He is a firm believer in the power of the mind to make the impossible possible. His favorite quote is: “Trust Your Confidence”.
