The renovation of the National Theatre, as well as the growing number of stage plays by renowned producers and directors, show that this field of the arts is indeed having a resurgence.

Thus, the theme of the 6th edition of LCEW, provides a platform for young practitioners to understand the opportunities and explore avenues to carve a sustainable niche in the Nigerian theatre arts industry, from scripting and costuming to directing and stage design.
