Oluwatimunide is a lawyer with a solid educational background – attending Greensprings School Lagos, Greenwood House School, Lifeforte International High School, University of Southampton (LLB) and the Nigerian Law School (BL).
Though she is barely two years post call to the bar, she has accumulated several years of experience in both the legal and non-legal field. In Nigeria, she has interned at Akindelano Legal Practitioners and Aluko & Oyebode LLP. She also has work experience from the prestigious KPMG Nigeria, working in the Tax – Consumer and Market unit, and Partnership Investment Limited, a stock exchange firm. Her Nigerian Law School externship programme was at George Etomi & Partners Lagos, and she sat before Justice Wasiu Animahun of the Lagos State High Court, Igbosere (Civil Division). In the United Kingdom, she participated in Targetjobs, City Law for ethnic minorities and gained work experience at Edwards Wildman Palmer, Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co, Mayer Brown and Camero McKenna Associates. She also had a one-day sitting at the Crown Court, Southampton.
Oluwatimumide currently works as a trainee associate at Streamsowers & Köhn, with a focus on litigation and corporate law. She also owns her own jewellery line called NeroBespoke, which specialises in designing and retailing specially crafted jewellery pieces from vast raw materials.
A few of Oluwatimumide’s achievements include but are not limited to
the following: Outstanding Student in English Language and Sociology at O levels, President of the Young Entrepreneurs Society, Treasurer of the Lawyers Without Borders Student Division, Southampton, and a renowned member of the African Caribbean Society and the Women in Business at the University of Southampton.
