Temitayo Ade-Peters is a an award winning bilingual (French/ English) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) advocate and eco-segment leader with over 13 years’ experience in the operations, communications and sustainability fields.
She leads the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts at a leading organisation in Nigeria and until recently was Head, CSR at one of the top banks in Nigeria. Her immediate pursuit after joining the bank, was to bring improved structure to its sustainability efforts, and elevate its profile amongst stakeholders through impact-focused initiatives. The journey earned the bank several recognitions and sustainability awards.
She is also the founder and Community Development Manager of WeForGood.co, a social network that brings people together to act on causes they care about. WeForGood employs technology as an enabler for effective citizenship, collaboration and participation in fulfilment of the SDGs, and for the overall wellbeing of communities.
In her previous role as Lead, Communications International for another prominent bank, she initiated its sustainability strategy migration for local adaptation at subsidiaries across Africa, endearing the bank to the nationals.
In 2018, in recognition of her contribution to helping businesses create sustainable value and make lasting impact, she was honoured with the prestigious “GLOBAL CSR LEADERSHIP AWARD” at the World CSR Day at Taj Lands End, Mumbai, India.
In addition to the various courses she has taken, she has a certificate in sustainability strategy from the Lagos Business School, a degree in Foreign Languages and an MBA from the Paris Graduate School of Management.
Temitayo is passionate about partnerships and she actively promotes collaborative participation, and volunteering for addressing issues of collective concern.
